Please follow these steps provided below to renew your account.
- Log into your SDRM 2.0 account https://sdrm.nastfsecurityregistry.org/
- Select the Account Settings menu item
- On the Account Settings page, click on the blue email address to the account that needs to be renewed
- Select the blue Renew VSP button towards the top right of your screen, this will take you to your application to complete the renewal
Step 1: Agreeing to the program rules. Please read the user agreement, and if you agree, check the checkbox labeled "I understand that I am agreeing to the policies above and I will ..." and click Agree and Continue.
Step 2: Documentation. On step 2 you will fill out your business information, personal information, and upload a copy of the required documentation listed below.
Proof of Identification - A legible color copy of your current valid U.S. or Canadian driver's license.
Proof of Employment/Ownership – Acceptable documents to submit include: a current W-2 form (be sure to redact all but the last 4 social security number digits), a current pay stub, a current letter signed and dated by the HR department of the corporation identifying the employee by name and current work location, or a current dated legal business document listing the applicant as the owner of the company. Documents cannot be more than a year old and must confirm the applicant is a full time W-2 (not contracted/1099, W-4’s and W-9’s will not be accepted) employee of the business or confirm ownership.
Business License / Business Document - NASTF requires documentation to show your business is currently active and in good standing with your state. Examples of the documentation NASTF can approve include:
- Certificate of Good Standing from your Secretary of State for the business, signed and dated for the current year.
- A screenshot from your state or provincial website showing the business is active or in good standing with the date the image was captured.
- A business license issued by your city/county/state/province dated the current year.
- A sales tax certificate/permit from the city/county/state/province for your business, dated and signed for the current year.
- An annual tax return can also be accepted, dated and signed for the current year by a preparer.
Locksmith License - If you are a locksmith and your state requires a locksmith license you will need to provide a legible copy for review. If you are not operating as a locksmith or your state or municipality does not require a locksmith license, please skip uploading a document. If you are operating as a mobile technician only, you will not need to upload a locksmith license.
Certificate of Insurance - NASTF's insurance policy requires the certificate of insurance to be sent by the insurance agent. Please have your insurance agent email a copy of your current certificate of insurance to [email protected] for review and include you on the message for confirmation of when the document is sent and received. NASTF requires Primary Account Holders to maintain at least a $1 million aggregate / $500,000 per event Commercial General Liability policy. Be sure to confirm the business name and address on all documentation matches the business name and address listed on the account and that NASTF, Wheat Ridge, CO 80033 is listed as either the Certificate holder or as additionally insured.
Step 3: Professional references and Criminal History. Enter the first and last name of two professional references along with their phone number. Please note: References that are family or references that are companies with an 800 number and no contact name will be rejected.
Step 4: Payment.

Once you have submitted your application and it has been paid for, the NASTF Registry Management Team will review your account and message you via email if there are any problems with your application or the documents. This process takes 1-2 weeks to be approved. Following your approval, you will receive instructions on how to use your NASTF credentials.
