Modified on Thu, May 15 at 4:45 PM

To renew a subordinate account, please have the primary user follow the steps below.

  1. Log into your SDRM 2.0 account https://sdrm.nastfsecurityregistry.org/
  2. Select the Account Settings menu item
  3. On the Account Settings page, click on the blue email address to the account that needs to be renewed
  4. Select the blue Renew VSP button towards the top right of your screen, this will take you to your application to complete the renewal

Step 1: Agreeing to the program rules. Please read the user agreement, and if you agree, check the checkbox labeled "I understand that I am agreeing to the policies above and I will ..." and click Agree and Continue.

Step 2: Documentation. On step 2 you will fill out your business information, personal information, and upload a copy of the required documentation listed below.

Proof of Identification - A legible color copy of your current valid U.S. or Canadian driver's license.

Proof of Employment – Acceptable documents to submit include: a current W-2 form (be sure to redact all but the last 4 social security number digits), a current pay stub, a current letter signed and dated by the HR department of the corporation identifying the employee by name and current work location. Documents cannot be more than a year old and must confirm the applicant is a full time W-2 (not contracted/1099, W-4’s and W-9’s will not be accepted) employee of the business.

Locksmith License - If you are a locksmith and your state requires a locksmith license you will need to provide a legible copy for review. If you are not operating as a locksmith or your state or municipality does not require a locksmith license, please skip uploading a document. If you are operating as a mobile technician only, you will not need to upload a locksmith license.

Bonding: In addition to the Liability policy for the Primary, businesses must carry a minimum $100,000 employee dishonesty/surety bond for registered sub accounts. In many cases if there is only 1-3 sub accounts it is more cost effective to register them as primary accounts.

Step 3: Criminal History. Confirm all information is correct.
