NASTF VSP Primary Account Holders must have at least $1 million aggregate / $500,000 per event Commercial General Liability coverage. Liability coverage is required for several reasons, primarily since account holders will be performing secure transactions, coverage provides assurance that in case of any problems you (and NASTF for confirming the credentials) are protected.
NASTF's policy requires the certificate of insurance to be sent directly from your insurance agent. Please have your agent submit a copy of your current Certificate of Liability Insurance (preferably an Acord form) to coi@nastf.org for review and include you on the message for confirmation of when the document is sent and received. Be sure to confirm the business name and address matches the information on the account and that NASTF, Wheat Ridge, CO is named as either the Certificate holder or as additionally insured.
Remember, the Policy must be current. NASTF is unable to accept applications with documents expiring within 30 days.
Finally, request that your agent include/cc you when submitting the information to coi@nastf.org. This will confirm when the document is sent and received and assist in establishing the status of the application. Notification is sent upon receipt and approval, however, when no email address (or an incorrect email address) is used, there is no way to respond, and the application remains incomplete. When documentation is rejected, guidance is sent outlining the necessary steps for approval.
