OEM Requesting NASTF Credentials

Modified on Thu, May 15 at 2:26 PM

When conducting an OEM transaction, once you are prompted for your NASTF/Vehicle Security Professional (VSP ID) credentials, you must enter your VSPID (previously known as LSID) for the username (sometimes referred to as the NASTF username) and the 7- digit NASTF Authy token for the pass code/password. Remember, submitting this information will also initiate a D1 request to your NASTF dashboard. If you have not completed a D1 in preparation for your transaction, you will have 5 days to resolve the request.

You can find further documentation for this and other items such as industry announcements, threads with guidance, tech info and instructions by accessing the NASTF Knowledge Base through the menu bar of the SDRM dashboard.

VSPID:

In most cases, an OEM will request your NASTF identification by asking for a VSP ID or an LSID or your NASTF Username and this is referring to your VSP identification number (found in your accounts page dashboard of SDRM portal. Then, they normally ask for either a NASTF password, passcode or token and this is going to be your Authy 7-digit multi-factor code (using the same app that you use to log in to your VSP account).
