NASTF App Registration & Common Issues

Before You Begin

The NASTF App is used to securely verify your identity for SDRM transactions.

Before registering, make sure:

✔ Your phone is connected to the internet.

✔ Your phone has a screen lock enabled (PIN, Password, Pattern, Face ID, or Fingerprint).

✔ Push Notifications are allowed.

✔ Location Services are enabled.

✔ You have your NASTF username and password.


Registering the App

  1. Download and Install the NASTF App from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.  
  2. Open the app. 
  3. Select Email + Password
  4. Enter your NASTF credentials. 
  5. Scan the QR code displayed in your NASTF account (or follow the registration instructions provided). 
  6. Complete registration. 

If registration completes successfully, you're ready to use the app.

I don't have a QR Code

The app says my device isn't secure

Verify:

  • Screen lock is enabled 
  • PIN/password is configured 
  • Face ID/Fingerprint is optional but recommended 


I already registered another phone

If replacing or changing devices:

Reset your App Data from your NASTF account before registering the new device.


I never receive the approval notification

Verify:

  • Push Notifications are enabled 
  • Internet connection is active 
  • Battery optimization isn't preventing notifications 


Registration keeps failing

Try:

  • Update the app 
  • Restart the phone 
  • Reset App Data 
  • Reinstall the app 
  • Register again using Email + Password
